I'm a wheelchair user with a large package (think size of a softball, flaccid) and I've found that finding the right underwear can be a challenge. Normal use of my chair pushing my rims and use a swinging technique is crushing my balls. I've tried the usual sort of underwear (jocks, briefs) etc but they're all designed for standing up - I'm sitting down and my junk naturally sits between my legs and those types of underwear don't work.

I've no idea really where to ask for advice on this lol so I thought I'd reach out here... has anyone else experienced this issue? I'm looking for suggestions on styles or brands that might accommodate my needs better.

Ideally I need some kind of of supportive pouch that offers enough room without squeezing everything too much and lifting it all up to a comfortable position.

I get it, bro. The "squeeze", and even worse, actually accidentally sitting on "the pair" when not being thoughful about them when taking another chair or on the toilet seat can hurt like HELL!

If regular, tight briefs, jockstraps or even sportswear like UnderArmor won't work for you, maybe try a wide Ace elastic bandage to lift "the boys" up, out of your crotch, for more comfort?

I use a wheelchair too, although not 100% of the time. I can walk, albeit with difficulty. I have a small dick, but relatively big balls that hang very low at times. I suggest trying wildmant.com (Tim Wildman makes underwear for men with naturally large meat and potatoes, and for men who pump). I also like the John Sievers brand. There are a few others I've tried and liked. Look at internationaljock.com, if not for the underwear, then for the eye candy.

Go commando

LOVE commando!
If a problem just reach in and lay them on ur lap!
That's what I have done
This. I know several paraplegic patients and they all go commando to prevent autonomic dysreflexia. Their caretakers ‘lift’ their balls in their laps after sitting down.

Has your "package" ever been examined by a doctor?

It sounds like you may have a hydrocele or other repairable condition.

The diameter of a softball is about 10 cm, that seems to fall well within the norms of what may be considered reasonable, and there’s no other indication of any ailment.
In fact, the problem is already described in the post itself, and has nothing to do with having elephantine balls 🙂

What??? What kind of advice is that? Then his balls would definitely get crushed.
Dance belts, which are basically thongs but whose purpose it so hold your balls up tight away from their normal hang, might do the trick.

⬆️⬆️⬆️

Additionally, I have never encountered any patient wearing a dance belt or a thong for any medical purpose.

Well, I know men who have worn suspensors post-vasectomy, and they're similar in terms of scrotal support. I only suggested dance belts because, as I understand it, they are tighter and more supportive, keeping your balls up and out of the way, than most jockstraps. It's not so inconceivable that a guy might wear one to avoid sitting on his balls.
Also, you say their caregivers "lift their balls after sitting down." One might wonder why the caregivers are sitting down on the job... oh wait you mean the patients are sitting down! Seriously, tho, why would they lift their balls AFTER they the patients are sitting? Wouldn't it make more sense to lift them up BEFORE they sit?
Are you a doctor? I had to look up dysreflexia. How going commando "prevent automatic dysreflexia"?

Oops. Left out a word. That last sentence should read "How does going commando prevent auto dysreflexia"

I wear custom briefs by BuffedBod. He will design cotton briefs to your measurements. If you talk to him and explain your problem he might be able to help you..
