I think they’ve gotten worse, if anything. At least at Buzzfeed they had bigger budgets and better concepts. Today’s video was basically just a huge ad for a phone.

If anything leaving Buzzfeed and now having their own platform made them go way safer than their usual contents. They don't have the budget of Buzzfeed, so they rely everything on the monetization of their videos and take the most sponsorship and ads they can, cause they don't know how successful they'll be.
Have you noticed the numbers of collab they did? It's like they were afraid of being forgotten or cancelled so they went on the maximum of channels.
