and they were never 4 friends goofing around. they only became the try guys because buzzfeed put them together to make videos. and then they decided they wanted full control of their content and the money they make and so they left buzzfeed to start their own company. it's coworkers who went on a business venture, that's all. safyia nygaard basically pioneered the whole "leaving buzzfeed to have a successful youtube career", and a bunch of people followed, but most didn't make it. i think aside from saf, quinta and the try guys were the only ones to make it on their own.
i honestly can't even see them hanging out in their spare time. they have a podcast where they just sit and chat and eugene literally refuses to be on it so now it's just zach and keith. zach and keith i can see hanging out, eugene i can't. i don't think all their personalities mesh well enough for them to be off camera friends
