Welcome! I’m also new to this site. I needed an outlet to share my favorite content and meet like minded folks. I noticed you’re into films! What were your favorites this year?

Thank you, much appreciated. Films of this year? I don't recall any, as cinema gets worse every year.

However, I did recently revisit some old classics:

E.T.
Citizen Kane
Milo & Otis
The Little Mermaid
The Wizard of OZ
The Shawshank Redemption

And my partner and I watched a fantastic film neither of us had ever seen before: Glory. That's the 1989 film starring Matthew Broderick, Denzel Washington, and Morgan Freeman. Very awe-inspiring film full of shocking and thematic elements that really pull one into its intended setting.

Always brilliant when the make up is as good as that!!

Cinema DOES get worse every year, haha, but I’ve watched a few really good ones this year (my tastes are wide ranging and random). The Substance was absolutely bonkers in the best way, and probably my favorite. Others I liked were: Civil War, Late Night with the Devil, Terrifier 3….theres others, but I’m a bit intoxicated at the moment and can’t remember them all, ha. I love your list of classics! Some of my all time favorite films.
