Nicholas Galitzine

The straight Republican movie from Netflix that he's in is a huge sucess... good for him

But

The sad part of it: RWRB will never have the same amount of attention being on Amazon :sob:

2022 and Americans think just because Netflix is doing bad there is a big issue in other countries. Other streaming services are pretty unpopular in most countries - maybe Disney+ is popular in anglophone markets - but the rule is Netflix combined with some local streaming service dominating.

Amazon is such a huge company but their streaming have less than 10% impact of Netflix

And I know piracy/torrent exists, but look at the numbers: actors from A lists shows in Disney, Amazon, AppleTv barely get their stars a 1 million mark. Every corny Netflix star hits 3 to 4 million rapidly

Nicholas was in an Amazon movie with Camila Cabello and James Corden and never reached the 1,5 million mark ... when this Republican propaganda movie in Netflix was released he jumped to 3,4 million *at the moment*

Just to be clear - I'm happy for him getting the spotlight he deserves. I just got mad that RWRB was picked by Amazon (could be even worse AppleTv+ and Cock/peacock whatever the NBC stream is)

He was hanging out with Shawn Mednez in secret for a good while, then he started working with Shawn's then girlfriend Camellia Cambello or whatever. I think there was something there because he posted a photo of him & shawn at like 3 am, and it was deleted before 24hrs.

Oooh I didn't know this! Would you have a screenshot of the picture they posted together? Don't think I've ever seen it.

yeah I thought it was weird he only got 600k from doing a heavily advertised Cinderella movie (probably mostly Cabello followers) but this low budget netflix movie got him 3m somehow. I guess netflix's audience is more prone to following actors on social media, same with his costar Taylor. Even A-listers take years to build their SM following but IDK if it means much in the grand scope of his career...

Is because most of the people actually watch Netflix shows - other services are

A just a tip of the business (Amazon Prime - people use their subscription to get discounts in their products)

B insignificant outside North America (AppleTv+, Paramount, Peacock)

C not that popular yet (Disney+) - Disney even lied that they surpassed Netflix- they just added Hulu, ESPN+ to the count to boost their numbers by almost 100 million subscribers

So much so that Disney are now going to put up their price for standard tariff to 10.99 same as Netflix..

Post production on a rom-com? 4-6 months maybe? Spring 2023 release? Maybe even a bit earlier? How long until Nick buzzes his blonde hair off?
I wonder if they have real chemistry. That's what I'm looking forward to seeing most tbh. He hasnt had it with any other costar imo but they seem close too. Chemistry will make or break the film

It’s curious, I really thought Nick & Sofia lacked any chemistry in PH but it’s been really popular & they are hyping up sequels in the press. So clearly people do think they worked well together ‍♀️ I thought he was terrible in Cinderella as well chemistry wise. He was so camp that I could not remotely believe in their love story!

Not true. I think if people are interested they’ll watch. “The Summer I Turned Pretty” just put Amazon in a great spot.

The most watched Amazon Streaming movie/show barely scratch the viewership of the 20th position at Netflix...

Obviously the fans of RWRB will watch, much like the fans of that After franchise (also in Amazon) did

Do they give TV movies premiers? To hype them up a bit? I didn’t notice one for PH? Sadly, a gay romcom not released in cinemas probably isn’t going to be a smash hit but I hope they don’t at least done a good job! Nick does a pretty decent job at promoting his movies & he’s gone from 600k followers to 3.7 million post PH.

Also, look at him >>>

he's doing too good of a job promoting that movie tbh, truly tired of him posting the buzzcut look but can't wait for all his Bts content when RWRB drops
