I have friends and old classmates who are in entertainment law and neither side is expecting any major movement until the end of the year, maybe a rapprochement by the studios around the holidays to try and save face but it’s not looking good. They’re just too far apart atm to come to a deal.

Sorry I just saw this. The issue is the studios have enough content to last until spring. However they’re all going to lose millions if not billions for summer blockbuster season and now with streaming they’ll lose everything. It’s so ignorant for those (generalizing) 10 old white men who are too entitled and think the world needs to kiss their feet before they make any deal. It’s gross. We need change. The talent and the talents team have opportunities to make money with endorsements but the poor production staff/writers/lesser known artists are fucked and it’s despicable.
