pick good roles? didn't he film a show for snapchat? you know, the app that basically died out once instagram introduced stories. and i haven't seen a single person on twitter or tumblr, who usually would post stuff about him, say a word about that show. literally wouldn't know that show was a thing unless i was in this thread.
so i don't think he necessarily picks good roles. after all, he's basically only known for being the bully in it
I hope to god he isnt limited to bully roles

Now that he's come out, he'll probably land more queer roles. And since Hollywood likes to oversexualize gay men, I wouldn't be surprised if he landed a part as a queer character with nude/sex scenes.

Why is it so shocking he lives in (or around) NYC? Be it an apartment in LA or NY - it's all just Renting. If I grew up in Australia I'd absolutely choose the east coast of the US. To actually experience all four seasons is a real treat in life.

He's more likely living in the US on a work visa, not a permanent residency or green card....and is in the NYC area because a lot of the projects he might be working on are in the NYC area....

He might be looking to do some theater

Nicholas was great in Captain Fantastic, The Dark Tower, a small role in Danger Close and of course the IT movies. So he’s had a fairly small amount of work as he is young. But I think he’s a good actor so hopefully he gets some awesome roles in the future.

I would love to see him as Johnny Storm in a Fantastic Four movie. Or as Iceman in some new X-men

i couldn't disagree more. i'm southern european and it's already bad enough dealing with the four seasons. i can't fucking stand the cold and the rain. eternal spring and summer is a dream come true.
the shock that he lives in ny is more due to less opportunities. sure, you can still land plenty of acting gigs in that area, and you don't need to live in la to be an actor. but if you're an immigrant, la is probably the best place to be at as an actor, because it allows for easier connections. you're more likely to be touching elbows with people who can get you gigs in la than in ny
