Im so angry tbh like this was the theme out of all seasons that had the most potential…they could’ve even done multiple seasons of this alien theme cause there’s so many opportunities and possible story lines…they could’ve even do an episode when they return to Briarcliff and explain the aliens in it and it would’ve been the most iconic episode ever…but instead Ryan gives us this few episodes that doesn’t even have a connection to Red Tide (except that Callico thing)…it could’ve been such an iconic season and Ryan Murphy screwed it up so badly i suspect that there were huuge problems bts and with fx or the scheduling

i think Red Tide should've been it's own 10-episode season.

They should've saved Double Feature for season 11 and make it 14 episodes, with the first 7 as Death Valley

Yeah Red Tide was solid, but then had a super rushed end, could have easily made it 10 full episodes, then better use Nico and aliens in a full season.

also Finn Wittrock should've been naked. Omg, that scene of him drinking blood was strangely hot

It’s so bad btw that ahs belongs to fx and not netflix or hbo or another streaming service cause i feel like there are always so many deadlines and they have to create the show based on that…if they had more time it would be sooo much better omg its such a shame

I remember when i saw it on tiktok that they are shooting the final episode of american horror stories and then literally 1 and a half weeks later it was airing

But was it really rushed? I mean they had two years for this one.

I know they were limited on filming time frame due to COVID and having people together, but they had plenty of time to write and work on scripts.
December 2020 to May 2021 for Red Tide, and June to September 2021 for Death Valley

Also they didn't have enough episodes to expand the story, hence why they should've had their own seasons

They could’ve at least do a proper ending that concludes these very short stories, it wasn’t a huge challenge lol but they didnt even try to do any ending at all they just left both stories unfinished and open
