Nico greetham

Nah. Like, the majority of love victor casts are str8 lol the only queer guy ik there is nicholas hamilton lol
pretty sure nico ain't straight. and joshua colley, who played nico's character's boyfriend at the end of the show, pretty sure he plays for our team as well. i think there was even speculation the 2 were actually dating

Come on, maybe they’re both Method Actors and take their craft very, very seriously and did intense and deep experience exploration!
speaking of joshua, he has apparently landed a role in the dead boy detective show that had a pilot on doom patrol. iirc his character was originally played by sebastian croft. and iirc the character is gay, at least in the doom patrol episode it was heavily mentioned both guys are into each other. boy sure is getting typecast.
i think for some of us it might be a harder concept to grasp that these younger celebrities are openly gay while also not being openly gay. they don't make a huge deal about coming out, they basically make a throwaway comment that indicates they play for our team, and don't really flat out say it until it gets directly asked. nic hamilton was basically the same, where he came out on some charity livestream by mentioning he was videocalling his boyfriend.
a lot of us grew up with celebrities having to make huge announcements when they came out, in some interview or on social media. coming out videos on youtube were popping up left and right up until a few years ago. i think it's less of a thing now, unless said person had to deal with some shit while in the closet, like being told to stay in it or it'd ruin their career(grayson chance comes to mind). but for the most part, young queer celebrities are kinda nonchalant about the whole thing

I think it's a combination of things tbh. I think yes some of these people are obviously more at ease with sexuality/identity being gen z in a mostly more tolerant world. But I don't doubt industry homophobia still plays a role whenever queer actors aren't explicitly out. Some of these guys are just playing the game just like everyone before them.

Things have gotten better but not that much re Hollywood tbh. I haven't seen enough change yet to shift my cynicism

Younger actors may just have a different perspective about coming out. Coming out 20 years ago was a much bigger deal, I think. Today coming out, although still newsworthy, is just not a big a thing as it used to be.
