I think in summary, that while many stories have good writing of the scene descriptions and can work really well for what they are intended for, they often have problems making that leap to being a great story by lacking conflict and tension. Surprising the reader with what will happen next or make them anticipate what may happen as tension increases until it crests when someone wins, and someone loses. Losing is debatable when the loser ultimately has an orgasm but in the case of a Straight to Gay or the like story it often is the successful conversion or turning out.

I have read those stories before and while entertaining they have the original flaw I see in many domination stories. The one being dominated tends to just crumble at the first touch. Their entire personality just changes into a submissive almost slave. Usually, they suddenly discover they were submissive on the first acts. I was hoping to find stories with a bit more struggle to them, more of a contest.

Have you guys read " A Top's transformation" on Gaydemon? It's one of the best I've read in the Dom/Sub space. It's the journey of a total top cocky jock into finding out that his preferences aren't as clear cut as he thinks they are.

The thing that I'm loving about it so far is that it feels real. In many of these stories in which a jock finds themselves as a sub after being either straight or a total top, is that they sometimes sound forced.
