Gas wars when regular hit 17.9 a gallon. Gulf gas stations would sale high quality LP's dirt cheap as promo's.
The smell of white clover when it was high. Picking the tall white flowers near the base, and weaving chains of the flowers to wear. I guess we were the original flower children.
Almost every older person you knew had an aunt, uncle or grandparent nick name. Growing up in a small community where people treated each other like old friends, and family.

I got a new Elmer's Glue-All every year. Every one I ever had clogged. And the stupid little skinny tip that poked out the top always broke off. Could be why mine always clogged, now that I think about it...

The sweet clean smell of the air during a long cleansing rain. Blue-eyed grass raising it's cheerful little head wherever it can find a place to root. The sweet song of the mockingbird in the early morning, and late evening. The sight of a puppy with a fat milk tummy trying to waddle across the yard.
The first season of Supernatural. With the resent announcement that season 15 will be the very last, I am thinking back to College Sam and uber-slutty Hunter Dean

I have been saving Supernatural to watch from start to finish for a while now. My mom used to love it, and I watched reruns with her the last few years but I never caught on to what was happening overall. I'm finally getting to the point where I think I can start it soon, and I'm excited! It's gonna be epic.

Like a demented fan girl, before season 15 starts, I plan on rewatching the entire series.

I feel the same about The X-Files! I will defend that show to the death even after the last several seasons.
I'm excited to discover Supernatural and enjoy all the gloriousness.
