Really glad to read this. I always wondered if I was a bit weird. I played football in college and almost always had to share a room on "away" games. Because of booking problems, it was 50-50 whether you had to share a bed. I agree with the study, that almost always resulted in cuddling and spooning.

When I was younger, I rented a studio apartment with a sleeper sofa (hide-a-bed). The landlord asked if I'd share the room and rent with a guy who'd lost his roommate. He was a nice-looking guy with a super-V build, i.e., really really wide across the shoulders and upper chest, tapering down to a teeny tiny slender waist. We bonded quickly; he'd played high school baseball, me football. We ended up cuddling and spooning, sometimes with a leg crossing over the other's midsection or groin. I'd often wake up feeling his erect penis pressing against my butt, or mine against his. We saw each other's morning wood. I'd guess his was about an inch longer than mine (approximately 5" and slim). At the end of the next month, he moved he moved in with his fiancee. I attended their wedding.

My after-school boss in college is gay. Dan's become a second father to me. His younger lover, Ted, is about my age. We've all become very close. Kinda weird, and I never bought the excuse, but Ted often slept with me when I was staying over. I'd call the result "aggressive cuddling/spooning." LOL Ted is technically bi; Dan says if he dies or they ever split, Ted will go back to women. Ted and I are naturally competitive (friendly); too much testosterone between us.* The cuddling and spooning seems to lessen the tension between us, and a sort of bonding. FYI Ted is a little over 7" (per Dan), although somewhat thin. Since Ted always sleeps nude, I do too.


* Ted and my wife get along like gangbusters. When we're together, I usually team up with Dan, and my wife with Ted. They're both blond, so people often take them as a couple. When we're in Las Vegas, Ted quickly gets bored with the tables -- although he's a gifted bridge and poker player, much better than me -- so he and my wife go off on their own, while I stay and keep Dan company at blackjack.
