NUDE / NAKED Beach Reviews - GLOBAL

Visited Hanlan's Point Beach "Clothing optional" beach on Toronto's Centre Island, last week. It's well signposted and seperated from the cycling track by bush and scrub. Very narrow beach and the wave pattern suggests a strong undertow sweeping right (Towards airport), although a few guys were in the water. It's pretty much the gay beach with very little balls-out nudity; I reckon my presence boosted the naked cock population by 20%! A lot of Label Queens in designer beach gear which is another indication of how little nudity eas going on. Great place though for checking out Speedo guys who are otherwise uncommon in Canada. Lots of guys in thongs too. Virtually no women- clothed or optional

Taking a short cut through the scrub afterwords bumped into two (Cool n friendly) Metro Policemen, so I assume patrols are laid on to discourage fun and games?

My first visit to a nudist/ clothing optional beach. Bit of an odd vibe; it felt like there was lots of window shopping without being cruisy plus lots if men acting too cool to admit they were enjoying themselves. Not gonna rush back.

I visited Hanlans Point around 20 years ago. It was far more male than mixed even then but was about 80% nude. I’m proud to be a gay man but it does annoy me the number of beaches that were previously very nude and non-judgemental being taken over by the prissy queens that want to look at everyone else’s equipment but can’t possibly show theirs as obviously no one would be able to keep their hands off them! Much rather go to a place with a mixture of people that are relaxed about getting naked and don’t spend their time judging others.

Has anyone been to Macherida beach near Chania, Crete? If so, is it good? Can anyone recommend any other nudist beaches near Chania, preferably with mainly gay men

Hey man. I’ve been Macherida last summer, and I plan to make a stop there again in June. The sand beach is very small, and when I was there, there were non nudists too. There is really no much room. With this being said, nudists and non nudists seemed to go along with no issue.
If you are looking for more “action”, take the short trail towards the rocks and there you find gay nudists :)
I saw some guys going back and forth to a cruising spot at the very end at the rocks.

Plenty of opportunity to get naked at the beach around the south east coast of Australia. Just in Sydney Harbour are four beaches, Lady Jane, Cobblers, Obelisk, and Washaway. Obelisk is the 'gay' beach with Speedo queens and attitude, and it loses the sun early. Cobblers is a mixed beach with a great vibe. Easy hookups with guys, and a scenic beat with harbour views. Washaway is great to relax on your own, looking across the harbour or exploring the rocks, but don't go specifically looking to hook up because you probably won't. Never been to Lady Jane, but it's a very small rocky beach. Going south is Little Congwong at La Perouse. Never been there either, but popular with the inner city crowd. Further down the coast, near Otford, is Werrong - a 2km walk through the bush (nude if you like) takes you out to a huge ampitheatre below the escarpment, and a beach below. I find this the least friendly beach I've been to, with a very standoffish attitude. Even further south at Gerringong is Seven Mile Beach, which is sufficiently open and isolated to get naked at in parts, but not a mainstream (or official) nude beach.
Heading up the coast, is Birdie Beach near Budgiewoi. This is my most frequented beach with a great down to earth vibe, and have made a lot of friends there over the years. It has the best beat of any beach I've been to. Because of its location it gets a lot of retirees, but also younger tradie and bogan types. You can spot the Sydney day trippers - prancing around in Speedos, and spending all day on Grindr. They go home with nothing because no one is good enough for them.
Heading west of Sydney is a spot on the Hawkesbury River at Yarramundi, an old sand mine, which has been a nudist area for as long as anyone can remember. I get there often, but unless you're a genuine nudist, will be disappointing because not many go there. Just a nice spot to relax with the gear off.
There's none of the prudishness you read about from the U.S. having to hide erections, and sex is not an issue as long as it's out of sight from anyone who might be uncomfortable with it.
Just to satisfy the curiosity for anyone who hasn't been to a nude beach, it's mostly guys. It's not this illusion of females and couples everywhere. And what females there are generally don't like assertive guys perving on them. Guys who arrive at the beach and won't get their pants off stand out like the proverbial. All the nudists notice, and generally won't interact with them. Either they are assumed to have 'small cock syndrome' worried about what others will think, (no one cares actually), or they are there just to perve.
