Omar Rudberg

Is Omar half European (Swedish) and half indigenous Venulzean?
Here's how wikipedia describes his cultural/family heritage. I assume his birth father was Venezuelan?

Omar Josué Rudberg was born as Omar Josué González on November 12, 1998 in Venezuela.[1][2] As a six-year-old, he moved to Sweden with his mother Wilnur, who had then married his Swedish stepfather Thomas Rudberg, from whom he took his surname.

I think Wilnur is also venezuelan no?

I assumed that as well and pictures indicate she certainly *looks* Venezualan.

This click-bait article says Omar's birth father is Venezualan.
Omar Rudberg Mom Wilnur Rudberg Is A Nutrition Coach

So best guess: both of Omar's birth parents are Venezualen and, having lived in Sweden since age 6 with his Swedish step-father, he is also culturally Swedish.

He talks about his Dad in an interview where he’s making food with a Swedish chef. He is Venezuelan & Omar said he doesn’t have a relationship with him. Pretty sure he said he hasn’t seen him since he left Venezuela. He’s also spoken about his family being Venezuelan but that the majority of them have now left & moved to other countries.

I saw an interview with him in which he says that his father died due to alcoholism. He said that his father separated from his mother when he was 1 year old, then he had no contact with his father for a while, and found him again shortly before he died. I'll try to find the interview here where he talks about his father's death and I'll put the link here

I am unable to post the link to the interview here. But it's on the Brazilian channel "Omar Rudberg Daily" and it's divided into 3 parts and he talks about his father. I just don't know if subtitles are available in all languages, but it's an interview dated September 21, 2021.

His dad is dead

Oh god. Just heard the 3 ‘new’ versions of Mi Casa Su Casa. Didn’t think we could top the 3 versions of Im So Excited for terrible PR decisions but here we are. WTF?! Slo mo, sped up & some horrible hybrid. Omar my love, you really need some better people steering your music. They are genuinely shit :sob:

I love his songs, and it makes me sad when someone says they don't like it lol. I think I like it because I'm Latino myself, although it's not just Latinos who like the sound of it. But I love his songs, especially the ones with more Latin tones. But as they say, taste is taste, right?

I was even watching the videos of when he was part of the band he was in as a teenager, and I liked it a lot too. I loved the way he sings, the stage presence and such. I didn't know the band before, because according to research I've read, the band was more successful in the Nordic countries, so much so that before Young Royals, Omar had almost 300 thousand followers on Instagram, and with the series, he reached 1 million followers very quickly, and now there are 2 million. But anyway, I wish I had known the band he was in at the time when it was at its peak, but I think that here in Latin America, few people knew about the band, because they were successful but in the Nordic / Scandinavian region

Guys, forgive my ignorance, but I'm looking for the meaning of this expression "slutty waist" but it's not clear at all. Of course it must be something sexual, but could someone explain to me exactly?? As I said, here in Brazil we don't use that expression
