Mas como é que o espanhol dele é ruim se ele é fluente? lol. Ele mesmo disse em entrevista que quando se mudou para a Suécia, aos 6 anos, sua mãe fez questão de continuar falando com ele em espanhol, justamente para que ele não esquecesse sua língua materna. Aprendeu a língua sueca com o padrasto, que só falava com ele nessa língua, e o inglês é a segunda língua da Suécia, por isso aprendeu rápido também, já que as crianças têm mais facilidade do que os adultos em aprender até 4 línguas ao mesmo tempo.

i do imagine his Swedish is better than his Spanish since he speaks Swedish more often with most people.
he did also almost lose his Spanish. he told his mom it wasn't cool to speak Spanish and would try talking in Swedish with her but she wouldn't let him. she made sure her son knew where he came from and kept his roots.
on top of all of that, he also speaks English as well because all kids in Sweden learn English in school from the start.
And I understand well when he speaks or sings in Spanish. I'm Brazilian, that is, my language is Portuguese, and Portuguese and Spanish are similar languages

He is also from Venezuela so maybe they are speaking an accent of Spanish you are not used to
His fluency is there but he def speaks Spanish very slowly compared to those who speak it as a first language. But fair enough, he’s been speaking predominantly Swedish since he was 6! & as someone who can speak both (conversationally), they are VERY different languages! Swedish is hard! I have Swedish family & so I’ve learnt a lot over the years but I still find it a very tricky language compared to Spanish!
Can he please do more Spanish Netflix/Amazon Prime stuff - he will be more famous like Manu Rios and Jorge Lopez!
I know about Venezuelan accent, I remember his accent in the show being of a not native person, that's why I'm surprised he was living in LatAm until he was 6
