I just saw your post today and would like to congrats you for your decision on getting circumcised. Your pics looked good, the doctor who did the surgery done a good job.
This reminded me my journey when I had mine done during Christmas break of my freshman year in college, back then I didn't know or discussed in details with my doctor on what style I'll get, so when I'd my surgery, the frenulum still in tact. I went through similar after surgery experiences to what you'd described. Looking back, it's all worth it.
You probably know this by now, the different between been cut and uncut is sex is much better after circumcision as I lasted longer. I no longer got the itchy feeling from my dick head, every now and then, especially during summer or hot weather once I've got the foreskin removed.

I wanna circumcise myself due to medical reasons but I'm young and live with my family, and share bedroom with all my sisters and niece. This will help settle the endless debate as to whether or not circumcised penises lose some sensation.

Of course the debate that circumcised penises reduce STDs had been settled.

Well most of the studies were in 3rd world countries with shall we say less than normal hygiene opprtunities so in that case I suppose it works.

Speaking from my own experience, you may need lube when you jerk off more than when you're still intact. But not a big deal. I was thinking of going back for a circumcision revision to have my frenulum removed. But now I'm on a fence after COVID-19 pandemic.

Your cock looks great, mate! While as a Brit I wasn’t cut at birth, I never really liked having a foreskin. Nothing wrong with mine medically, but I never really liked its look or texture. I got cut six years ago in my early 20s, also supported by my girlfriend, and never looked back. While I appreciate many guys never had an option, which does suck, I can’t help but notice how overrated foreskins are. I genuinely don’t think you are missing anything of note and I wish people stopped body-shaming circumcised cocks or over-glorifying uncut ones.

I'm not a big proponent of adults getting circumcised, for a multitude of medical reasons. The pix above, well, OUCH! Please don't do that again for a few weeks more! You're still swollen, the suture line in NOT fully healed. Once the swelling is down, you will need to exercise your little friend slowly, and gradually. Best of luck, you definitely won't miss the smell or the smegs.

I am 31, Scottish and uncut. I like the look of a circumcised penis and have been keeping my foreskin retracted on and off for the last 4/5 years. I have been thinking a lot more lately about taking it further and getting circumcised for aesthetic reasons.

I naturally have fears about getting circumcised and it's not how I want it to look and I can't change it. I want it to be low and loose. I won't get it done on the NHS as they only pay for it in medical circumstances. Whilst looking at private hospitals near to myself the price varies from £1500-£2500. A lot of money to spend and potentially not be happy with the look of it.

I currently have a small cut on the tip of my penis near to the meatus and the doctor has said that they are happy to put a few stitches in to see if it heals but he has said that it's not healing as it's not getting time to heal due to my urethra constantly expanding when urinating and he told myself that the stitches might not take as the inside of the cut now has the same skin as my glans. It's not giving me any issues and it's not getting any bigger. I'm worried that I take the leap to get circumcised and as a result it widens the cut and causes me problems.

I appreciate any comments that tell myself if I clearly want it to get it but I'm wanting to know how to go about it, expectations vs reality, costs, realistic recovery, etc.

Any information is appreciated. I'm on here almost every day or at least once a week so I will reply at some point.

I echo what @Hairylegs said. I got circumcised 6 years ago at 21. Like you, I had a normal foreskin; it was a decision dictated by personal preference and circumstance at the time. I was circumcised tightly (no skin bunching up soft), with frenulum removed. The abstinence is the worst part, but you will get over it soon enough. The loss of sensitivity is a myth - if anything, sex has improved because I feel better about my penis. Overall, I am very happy with my decision and I am sure you will be too! All the best!

It takes 3-12 months recovery time for adult circ. And as for smegma it would take like a week or more without a shower, ewwww, anyway smegma is almost identical to the covering on a newborn baby

3-12 months is grossly exaggerated. Mine fully healed in 4 weeks.

Glad you had a great recovery. I was going by recommended 6-8 weeks to heal stitches before sex, and adding in time for swelling to subside, plus desensitizing the glans. I know the latter varies depending on if a man hasn’t been able to retract for say, 10, 20, 30 years. healthunlocked dot com has some good reads; much seems related to UK NIH and India private clinics.

I can’t get give you any advice as I have been cut since birth. I love the way the huge head of my dick is prominent through my trousers, the thick ridge so visible. I understand why you keep the foreskin retracted. Hint: my fatty is so easy to clean too
