Can you do a chargeback? I always use PayPal for that kind of 'physical goods' payments for that reason. If you open up a dispute with Paypal the seller has to provide shipping details otherwise they return the payment. Idk about other banks but Paypal has been really supportive of that kind of thing with me.

No, I used Cash app unfortunately. Jerk even pretended he was gonna deliver said package in person.

Reading these posts was such a bummer. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the information-sharing you're all doing here, I'm just bummed you all have gone through these situations. Scammers make my blood boil. I haven't had any adult content scams perpetrated on me, but I have dealt with a few other kinds.

1) a FB advertiser scammed me out of a $30 lamp (this was 4 or 5 years ago & I didn't know I could report it to my CC for a refund)

2) some of my ID information leaked in one of those big data leaks just before the pandemic. I locked my credit report for 2 years riding that one out to hopefully avoid anything bad (knock on wood, all good so far).

Also years ago, pre-internet, I had an outside contract company affiliated with my credit card give me a "free" 3-month trial on security protection, only to make it nearly impossible to opt out of the $10 a month future coverage before the free trial run ended. Three hours on the phone, handed off over and over again to five different reps. I think they dropped my call twice, but I'm not sure on that. I do know that the call nearly drained my cell battery, and it became a race to finish the call before the phone died. Last November Saturday Night Live did a skit with Kieran Culkin about canceling Spectrum Cable that lasted 6 minutes. Extend the skit to three hours. Take out ALL the laughs, and add me telling one of the reps "If I have a rage-induced aneurysm today all I hope is that I live long enough to name it after you" before I finally got it canceled. I then immediately called that CC company and canceled the card, telling them their partner firm is what lost them my business. They, and I'm not making this up, offered me three more months of free security protection to stay. I declined their offer in as firm and definitive manner as possible.

Oh, and in an old job of mine I had to help deal with an out-of-state financial product (annuity aimed at older people) that may technically not have been a scam, but they knew their product wasn't competitive or very good, so they created a system where you could only opt out/sell once a month. You'd have to give them prior telephone notice, only had their phone lines open three hours each weekday (1 hour in the morning, an hour off for lunch, and two hours before the end of the business day) four days a week to request they send out the huge multi-page document that needed to be signed in several places. They required certified mail to return deliver the paperwork back to them, during only in a specific window of days at the month's end, and they would reject an entire packet if even one of the many signatures and initials were missed. When that happened, instead of correcting the issue and faxing over the correction(s), the person who wanted to opt out had to repeat the entire process the following month.

That was 20+ years ago, so a few of the details as hazy now, but I remember the overall process. I can still hear their indifferent, snippy voices when I would make those *(%$# monthly calls. And I KNOW they are the reason I check and re-check nearly everything myself in my personal life (paperwork, correspondence, 'did I turn the stove off?', 'did I lock the front door?') after those SOBs rejected a couple packets I had been assured were correct.

So, if that was all tl;dr, I feel for you all, and I hope you get your money back, or at least get some satisfaction posting warnings here.

I got pretty wise pretty fast to the online "dating" app games. The "register at so and so website so I can verify it's you" thing sounded like a scam, so I googled it and went down a rabbit hole of off-shore scams, one dollar fees turning into hundreds of dollars... and the trick of having cleaned up and roughed up photos "proving" they had been beaten up before and that's why they need use 'verify' site.

And if someone messages me saying they're in the military I thank them for their service but tell them too many bad people have ruined my ability to trust such a claim, and how I'm SURE they're genuine (ha ha) but I would not be going forward with talking with them.

I swear, if I didn't have a conscious I could clean up. But I like being able to sleep at night and look myself in the mirror.

I'd like to add:
Texts made to look like they were sent from Amazon, big-box stores like Wal-Mart & Target, your phone carrier, etc that have a link for "a special gift" (usually for a paid bill, or bogus special promotion).

I've also got fake texts supposedly from USPS & Amazon stating they tried to deliver a package but couldn't & if I wanted more information I needed to click a link. I might have fallen for that one, but I don't shop online all that much, so I knew there were no pending deliveries. If someone does a lot of Amazon buying I can see them more easily falling for it.

“Allwedoisyou” “thehamzamulki” the first guy that swindled me. he doesn’t have frontal nudity, not even ppv, maybe two videos on feed where his butt is out but the rest of him is clothed.
hints at nudity in bio and references sexual things in locked posts that were fakeouts including “holding my cock”…it was a toy chicken lol. And a $6.90 price. I’m glad it was less than 10 bucks at least. Blocked him on tik tok right after though.

also Zach Clayton sold me the worst nude I’ve gotten on the site for 25 bucks. He said “my dick head is completely out!” The head was out and a tiny bit of shaft, with a sweater on and face cropped out…

I hear Sean schutt and Tooturnttony are scammers that show less than they imply too so I didn’t buy from them.

Would you mind sharing everything on his page? @dany_vip_52 on twitter, thank you.

this thread isn’t super active but I wanted to let y’all know to be aware of these onlyfans scammers on Twitter

I found this user https://mobile.twitter.com/Dieguitosmith11

basically they steal other onlyfans or porn creators photos and try to trick you into subscribing to their onlyfans.

when I see the following statement I instantly know they are a scammer

“I want to break an ass, give me yours retweet and I write to you privately”

I fell for this once about a year ago only to be shown a different person when I subscribed to the onlyfans.

so please make sure you look into who you are actually subscribing to.

and don’t let the cheap subscription price fool you that’s most likely a scam in itself.

SOOOOO many scammers. Also bored of not seeing performers faces! If your going to do porn own it.
First question I ask is "do you show your face" cause I agree - if I'm gonna pay for it I want to see the whole package.
