How did you get it to work, I was gonna try the trial but when I come across drm vids on it it says “Your browser does not support this media type. Please turn on DRM in this browser or use another browser or device”.

I’m using the stream fab for Mac trial

It worked for me as well on a Mac. They currently have a black Friday sale for the lifetime license which gives you unlimited downloads.

I tried it as well as a couple similar apps and none of them worked for me, they all just said within the browser that the DRM videos couldn't load. Wonder why it seems to work for some people but not others.

There is a setting in your browser that controls whether it will play DRM content or not. An external app may (I can't be certain, but it may) use one of the installed browsers to acccess and play the content. If you have DRM disabled in the browser then it woouldn't work. I don't know for certain that this is the problem, but you could check and see if it helps.

Firefox: Go to the General tab of Settings. Right near the bottom is a checkbox to enable playback of DRM content.

Chrome: Go to the Privacy and security tab. At the bottom click Site settings. At the bottom of the page displayed click Additional content settings. Towards the bottom click Protected content IDs. Now there are two settings, one for protected content, and one to allow sites to use device identifiers. You can limit this to specific sites.

Edge: Go to the Cookies and site permissions tab in Settings. Towards the bottom click on Protected content IDs. There are two settings: protected content and protected content IDs.

I don't know where the equivalent settings are on Mac or on mobile devices, but with a bit of exploration you could find them.

Josh Collins (joshcollinsxxx) sadly turned on DRM as of Oct 15 2023. Every video after his collab with Mateo Muscle has playback issues.

In regard to DRM… Here’s a tip… Try disabling hardware acceleration on your browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.), relaunch your browser, and see if you’re able to download any DRM videos.

As for JustForFans, if the playlist method no longer works, go to account settings and select the HTML player (so the videos play as regular mp4 files), and then relaunch your browser, and click on the date shown above the video in order to access the onepost and facilitate downloading. Play the video, select the desired quality (540p or 1080p) by clicking on the screw icon on the screen, and try downloading it with Video DownloadHelper or CocoCut. If it doesn’t work, then try disabling hardware acceleration, and then relaunch your browser and try again.

I'm not sure what happened because prior to today, the only way I was able to download any JFF videos (and in 540 format because there was no option to change to 1080p) was to change the settings to HTML5 and then use Video Downloader Plus. However, after reading the above's post, I tried it again and for some reason, I am now able to download 1080p videos JFF, again with HTML5 in my settings, and using Video Downloader Plus.

I didn't do anything different except shut my Mac down overnight.

Thanks for the tips but for whatever reason this still didn’t work for me. I am on a Mac, but I don’t have DRM disabled on any of my browsers. In the StreamFab app when trying to download a video it just never gets past the “Analyzing” phase and ultimately fails.

Not that I’m aware of. All the chrome extensions and video downloaders only download videos with a black screen. The solution on Reddit is to scrape an entire page you’ve subscribed to using a very complicated script.
