So, has there been any work around? I can't see this function being totally unbreakable.
I think it's absurd that they still haven't created something to get around this situation, because there are even software to recreate videos and speeches of dead people. it shouldn't be so hard to create some tool to crack this stupid DRM

You guys gotta realize that this feature predates Onlyfans they are simply late to adopting it. I mentioned previously in the other thread that this has been around for years and it won’t be an easy fix. DRM has been used for many sites similar to OF but most notably streaming platforms such at Netflix, Hulu & more to prevent pirating. It’s something far more advanced than previous minor measures they have created to prevent pirating. So it isn’t gonna be a few month fix sitch. Otherwise previous sites/platforms that had the feature would’ve been compromised years ago. Only way to work around it currently is advanced methods or tedious ones that honestly make it personally for me not worth it. As sad as it it I’m still counting it a blessing that it’s a toggle. And that they didn’t make it like other sites where it isn’t even a choice for creators. They all have DRM on their videos permanently.

Hulu and Netflix aren't even invincible. Their shows are all over the Internet. So, like I said, this function should not be this hard to break through if Netflix and Hulu aren't.

Boycotting or unsubscribing from particular performers creators is probably the most effective way available to cause a change.
If a pub or restaurant always gave you short measures or an unsatisfactory experience then you'd be a fool to keep on frequenting them as a customer.

There’s 2 issues here. No one said Hulu and Netflix aren’t invincible. He said the known methods to get around DRM are time consuming and tedious. I’ve looked into it before, it’s a lot of steps and often involved coding, which not everyone knows how to do.

The people who do it to Hulu and Netflix have more of an incentive. They can either get paid by a website they sell it to or they are employed to do it. For us, it’s just more vids to jerk off to. Most people within that group will not want to put in the effort/time for just another vid to get off to. No one is getting paid on here.

So, my question was "is there a workaround?" Tedious or not, there is, so that's the answer to my question. No one said it is a new concept beginning Onlyfans either. And no one is getting paid to put Stranger Things or Ozark full videos and clips on YouTube or Dailymotion.

I agree. I have no reason to subscribe to these pages if I can't enjoy the quality on and offline. The true difference between an Onlyfans and Netflix is that once you are subscribed to Netflix, you have thousands of content to watch at your on convenience vs subscribing per content creator for a cost and most likely have to deal with PPV. A quick jerk off is never that serious. Thank goodness for this thread because not only is the Onlyfans model a scam (thanks to the content creators), but its popularity is clearly going to run its course soon.

…people literally get paid to pirate content. Are you new here?

Well, not everyone. A lot of people pirate for their own personal reasons that have nothing to do with money. But that's neither here nor there. My question wasn't about that, but it was sort of answered. And no need to be condescending. Take that somewhere else.

Anyway, again, thanks for this thread. Saves me a lot of money. This + plus the PPV after paying for a subscription nonsense is good enough for me to take heed.

That’s literally what I said. People, us, don’t get paid and don’t have as much incentive to do it because the process is too much work. Your question was about that because the full answer to “is there a workaround?” involves knowing there is a workaround, but it’s an annoying process and not many people on this site are willing to go through that. That’s what we’re trying to explain to you. And knowing the nuance of how pirating works/it’s history also helps give context to that answer because it seems like you don’t understand that.

Good post. I will post a link later but Onlyfans have significantly boosted their profits and dramatically the number of creators but this mainly benefits the wealthy owner and the big jump in creators is the flip side of the coin ie more competition between creators and oversaturation.

Perhaps you would like to post on my thread about the future of Onlyfans if you havent already?
Will the 'Onlyfans ' bubble ever burst?

This thread isn’t for asking questions & starting discussions like this. The sole purpose of this thread is for listing users with and without DRM. As the title I created for it states. Asking questions starting discussions that have nothing to do with the purpose of the thread is distracting & is diluting the thread of its purpose. There’s another thread more open ended for discussion related to DRM. I can link it if you want? Many of us know this information as it’s been stated several times on the other thread.
Anyway, what is the coding process and EXACT work around for this? Not really into a bunch of essays going back and forth at this point.

Well, that would be helpful. Thank you! And a simple link would have sufficed without all of the other condescending stuff.
Nothing is condescending dude. I said what I said and everything I said was a simple fact. A statement. If you’re upset and feel the truth is upsetting I can’t control that. You asking one question and turning it into all of this is really annoying as this thread has been really clear of foolishness. And stuck to its purpose. Either state names of users with or without DRM or use this other thread for its intended open ended discussion on the matter. OnlyFans videos now defaulting to DRM/streaming

So, we're going to act like threads don't drift away from the main topic on this board? You're acting like I'm asking to post content creators' material in this thread or asking questions that don't have anything to do with the DRM function. I asked a simple question, which was very relevant to this topic, and you were more than willing to respond to that question just a page ago. I don't need you telling me how to respond to threads on this board... like at all. Yes, it's very condescending.

Anyway, thank you for the link. I will check it.

I responded as a means to an end not to open a discussion. Nothing I said was intended for you to continue this on. I know exactly what I said and what my intent was I didn’t forget, so you failing to remind me is doing nothing but continuing this foolishness. Notice my next response to this situation is once again attempting to end it. Had I known you would’ve turned this into all of this I would’ve started with sending the link & calling it a day. It’s relevant to the thread I sent you not this one. You can read the first post of this thread as reference if need be a reminder. This thread drifts time to time but there’s never people bringing up being condescending & just really being annoying. Nevermind the fact your question has been asked a few times already. You have the link to the new thread. Annoy them please.
