Annoyingly Everyone Active have lost the contract for the Southwark leisure centres so I now cannot use my local pool and also Marshall St as they fall under two different providers. so annoying, loved a weekend trip to central to cruise the sauna and steam room and ofc the male only sessions. Those days are over now I guess.
Yes - this is really annoying. Clapham Leisure Centre, Marshall Street and Oasis all used to be run by Better.
Then Marshall Street transferred to Everyone Active and Clapham went to Active Lambeth.
Does Clapham still have open showers in the gym changing rooms? And are they used?
Feel like they should all just have a london pool pass or something so you can use every centre. They’re now all splintering off to smaller providers and as bad as everyone active are, I can only imagine council run centres are just going to get worse and worse!
Slightly off topic, but Active Lambeth are putting more money into Clapham and Brixton centres than Better did. That might be a function of whatever leasing structure Better had with Lambeth when it was first outsourced and might not continue, but it's been noticeable since April how much upkeep and cleaning has gone on.
And while I agree that coordination would be good, it's not in boroughs' interests. Post summer holidays, I'm going to cancel my Active Lambeth and switch to class pass to get back the flexibility.
Porchester spa is still Everyone Active, I think. I’m heading there this evening for some heat, nudity and flaunting. I’ll be holding the torch for the no swimsuit wearers.

I went to Marshall St Spa this week on the male only day and it was a bit disappointing, no nudity in the Spa area and there were signs saying swimsuits were mandatory everywhere.
There was this guy, one of the Leisure center staff, who kept coming to the spa to check if everyone had a wristbabd to be there, very loudly and rude.
The good part was the changing room whit open showers. I was there with two other guys that were also in the Spa previously and we kind of had a long shower clearly showing off ours cocks to each other.

Male sauna was closed today in Moorgate.. It was a mixed spa today. The steam room in the male changing room in the city gym was also closed
