I agree 100% with this, actually. I think experimentation really does help if you're not conpletely sure of your sexuality. If you happen to try having sex with women and enjoy it, to any extent, I'd personally think you may be somewhere in the bi spectrum. But then again, the labelling part is still up to them.
It's when gay people do it for money that never reaches a consensus here. Personally, I tell my clients I "enjoyed" our consultation time, when in reality (as an introvert) I found the interaction to be not enjoyable at all, purely transactional... just a means to do business, per se. I assume this is the same courtesy some gay performers do when promoting their straight-for-pay content... because, of course, saying "I didn't like fucking her, ew" wouldn't sell as well as "wow. The difference may be that your job includes and requires having these consultations that you dislike doing.
