yes he did, in a 2021 film called Mothering Sunday. Josh has also stayed in the independent film realm, the only big budget production he's been on is The Crown. The Crown seems to be an outlier in his career

He's been so openly uncomfortable with being objectified and the way girls/women have behaved towards him because of Normal People/dating Phoebe Bridgers, thinking they can ask him to autograph screenshots of his penis and things like that. I feel like they may have ruined it for us. It's hard to imagine a gay romance with Josh O'Connor won't have some nudity in it though, even if he never goes full frontal again.
