that's not what he says. he says that he read the script as being about an animalistic relationship but that they didn't put that into the movie because it was a Hollywood movie and they would make him cut things he wouldn't want to as a indie director.

Ah, I've read Brokeback Mountain right before movie came out, and the Ang lee movie watered down nothing, so I have no idea what he's talking about anymore... but whatever. I stopped giving a shit bout 3 or 4 posts ago. Regardless, he's getting hollywood actors, actors attached to disney projects; it's gonna be a hollywood movie. And if it's more, great... maybe I'm even missremembering the original short story. It was early 2000s'. Either way, I ain't holding my breath.
