One thing about using a long dildo is flexibility of positions. While the "size appropriate" toys are great... A long one allows her to try different positions that a shorter one makes awkward. I think like anything you have to first figure out your budget. There are cheap, mid-range, and high-end. William can correct me but I think Cheap is <$40, mid-range is $40-$80, and $80 and above is high-end. High-end is usually $120 and above range.
