Penis reaching belly button thing

I know there are other threads on here regarding the penis-to-belly-button thing, and I've read most of them. However, I've a couple of questions about it:

1. If one's penis reaches their belly button, does it really mean that one is "big"; and,
2. what if someone has a belly, does having such impact the penis' ability to reach the belly button?

For me, my penis reaches my belly button both when I'm standing and when I'm lying down. And when I'm seated, my penis reaches well past my belly button. But, I also have a belly. Had I not a belly, would my penis reach further?

Additionally, I don't equate to the penis-to-belly-button to mean a penis is big. There are so many things that can impact it that, in and of itself, a penis reaching a belly button doesn't mean one is big. I'm really curious about the impact of a belly on the penis-to-belly-button thing.

(For the record, I'm about 5'10" and weigh 260 lbs. So, yeah, I've a belly....sigh.)

Depending on how you pivot your hips can alter the penis to bellybutton distance. But there are so many variations amongst men of the distance between the top base/root of the penis and the bellybutton, its not a clear measure of a specific length. Id say most guys if they are near, at, or past their bellybutton, they are on the larger to huge side. Thats the best that can be determined.
And per my prior comment, the pivot or tilt of the hips and camera angle can change appearance significantly.

What you say makes sense. Which is why I don't put much stock in the penis-reaching-the-belly-button thing. But what are your thoughts re: someone having a belly? Think having a belly precludes it a bit about the penis reaching the belly button?

Maybe a little depending on the size of the belly, but layout on your back, the cock will usually lay across the flattened tummy…but someone with very low body fat will probably reach closer to their button than say me…

Good point. While I have laid on my back and tried things, I never made the connection about what you about the tummy being flat when lying down. My cock goes past my belly button when I do that.

i think in general, concerns about meeting some arbitrary metric for genital size are unhealthy.

But, the mere asking of a question isn't exactly indicative of something unhealthy. A question can be asked merely outta curiosity. As it is in my case. I've heard about the penis-to-cock-thing, thought I'd ask some more about it. Nothing more, nothing less.

Sexual curiosities aren't unhealthy per se, but they can indicate an unhealthy self-perception or preoccupation with a particular matter than has no real importance. In the specific case of your query, the only rational reaction is that "it shouldn't matter." It shouldn't matter that your dick reaches your belly button, as you claim; it shouldn't matter whether that is the case standing, lying or sitting; and, it shouldn't matter if your penis might "reach further" if you did not have a belly. But, it does, indeed, matter to you! So, the question is more "why does it matter to you?" than "about the impact of a belly on the penis-to-belly-button thing."

Length of the torso can also be a factor. A buddy of mine has a 6" penis and his reaches his belly button, whereas a swimmer I knew with a long torso his didn't reach his belly button and his penis was 7".
