Wednesday afternoon, 1st May 2024.
Being in the far south east - and in the real sticking-out bit of the south east - it's actually more than once in a while that we in Kent are a bit differentiated from the rest of England. And Wednesday was a case in point. A dense cloud sheet covered the whole country from dawn to dusk.
