I absolutely hate winter to spring / spring to summer / summer to winter.
I'm so tempted to move as far north as possible.
There were 48 confirmed tornadoes in 2 days.
*deep deep heavy sighs*

I sigh with you. A 120 foot tall giant oak got caught in a small twister on Sunday on my neighbor's property. It was twisted off of its trunk, went airborne and now all of it lies splintered all over my lawn and driveway. My neighbor said finders keepers.:)

Ohh no. Was anyone injured? Those giant oaks don't stand a chance they just become airborne missiles in those circumstances.

House and I are good! I was on this site and I heard the air turbulence overhead and said oh my gosh there goes my roof. Instantly the entire house shook as the giant tree landed just 50 feet away from my house. A guy is here cutting up the debris. So much to dispose of; will take most of tomorrow to haul and toss it all into my ravine.

Goodness. Sounds horrifying. To be on this site when a tornado is nearby is surreal af.
I was inside my bedroom closet door closed and ready. The one that hit near me was about 30 miles away. I was thinking oh crap I need to leave this area...there is a big lake about 10 mins down the road that fuels these storms as they cross over it. It's not a good situation.

Yes I am next to a large tributary of Chesapeake Bay and this is my third tornado in 3 years. Each tornado has touched down almost in exactly the same spot which is scary. One twister thrashed around loudly on my roof for awhile before deciding to go to the ground and tear up a dozen trees. Other than damaging vinyl roofing in a 500 square foot section, the house stood strong. When the water gets warm, water spouts develop and then can turn into violent twisters. But this twister moved across an entire county, touching down dutifully for me.

Yep. It was really quite terrifying especially when it happens at 3am.

exactly what i was thinking
how could anyone possibly feel comfortable in the evenings when you cant se a damn thing

keep safe 10 xs over geeesus

Goodness sir. That sounds absolutely terrifying. I don't think I could live in an area with that many tornadoes. Could you imagine living in Oklahoma. That many F5's....no no no. No thanks. Seriously all of this makes me want to move to Canada. Maybe Maine. If tornadoes are hitting maine the rest of us are fuck city.
How do you stay there....3 tornadoes in 3 years. No. Plus the damage to your house. Oh man. I just couldn't. It's so stressful.
