It looks like there's lightning at least in the first picture. So maybe a source of light created these effects on the lens, so that they can only be seen in a photo? Just a guess.

Jackfruit - this fruit is common in South East Asia!

I love them, but I know some people find the flavour too intense for their liking.

The young fruit can be used to cook a curry featuring lots of coconut milk.

Sometimes, they are mistaken for durians, but durians have longer, sharper and much more threatening thorns.
