Found in my neck of the woods, it is so beautiful in any season. It has become so over run by humans you can not enjoy it up close and personal as you could some 20 to 30 years ago. Parking is a nightmare too, no spots available on the weekend. The area around it burned in a wildfire in 2017 still beautiful but not as it was but is coming back to it's former self.

The Scottish Train Experience to End All Scottish Train Experiences

This sounds like something out of a Wes Anderson movie. It’s a Scottish train called “The Royal Scotsman” that has all the wonders of a 5-star hotel, including a spa and whisky tours. It’s like a dream come true. Maybe Bill Murray will be on the train wearing a double breasted corduroy suit… or is that just my Wes Anderson fantasy talking?

Grains were on the menu at feasts that took place more than 11,000 years ago at Göbekli Tepe in Turkey — one of the world’s oldest temples. (Vincent J. Musi)
How humans learnt to love carbs
The people who built the ancient monumental structures at Turkey’s Göbekli Tepe were fuelled by vat-fulls of starchy porridge and stew, not just meaty feasts. Archaeologists are uncovering evidence that ancient people were grinding grains for hearty, starchy dishes long before we domesticated crops. These discoveries shred the long-standing idea that early people subsisted mainly on meat.
