Have visited several times, as I have a friend who lives barely a mile away. It's quite unique in that the main road through it divides those who class themselves as Scousers (and hence speak with Liverpudlian accents) and those who class themselves as from Lancashire (and hence speak with nothing like a Scouse accent!) Having been there I can confirm it's true.
But I've yet to establish the accent of those who find themselves in the middle of said road.....
I'm from way down south, so you can imagine the looks I got when I dared to speak in Churchtown!
