I don't think so and I agree. He seemed very passionate about science and engineering and I think it a shame.

Well someone asked if he was still teaching math and I responded to them I was not criticizing Pietro.

OK, sorry for my words written with a kind of bitterness, but I don't understand why some criticize Pietro for his way of earning his life. He rules his professional life as he wants.
I would like him to teach me improper integrals.
I don't see a pointof criticizing him not working as maths teacher now. He might come back to that whenever he wants to. He makes money now on his looks while he's got them.

I agree with you, but some wrote the word "shame" to talk about Pietro's choice of career. There's no shame to study math, to become a teacher and to do finally other work.
