He must've been in need of some quick cash or something. He seems like a nice guy on Twitter but his OF def seems very scammy. So far, he's gotten $610 in tips on that last post and nothing to show for it. I can't imagine how many total subscribers he's got right now. The post got 246 likes. So at minimum, that many ≈ $3936. But he's got way more followers on his socials so I'm sure that number isn't much of an indicator.
