I still have my set of those cards! I bought them at the end of '95 here in Australia at one of those discount $2 type shops. In my late teens (closeted) with no access whatsoever to gay porn (No internet access either. Internet was a fairly new thing) These cards provided some welcome relief!

There's a couple of cards with Blade Thompson, which look like they've come from a solo photo shoot from "Behind the Barn door". He has that Red Bandana thing going on around his neck.

Also, some shots of Ryan Idol and a very slim, younger Eric York before he morphed into a muscle Daddy. Also at least one card of Karl Thomas. The rest of the cards feature relatively unknowns.

No, the company had to discontinue all its gay titles like Mandate, Inches, Honcho etc. in 2009

Tony Davis is still alive or at least was recently. He was in pretty rough shape and unable to care for himself. His partner since the early 90s and later also his caregiver, Wayne passed away in 2021 and Tony was placed in a nursing home.

Wayne was totally devoted to Tony. He neglected his own health to care for Tony, who needed constant care. Wish things had turned out better for them. They deserved that. They were good people.

I think you're thinking of the magazine Manshots. It was a great publication, that had interviews with porn stars past and present. But it became famous (especially during the heyday of AIDS) for having the last page being an obituary of a porn star who died.
