Porn Stars Where Are They Now

Met him a few times when I was very young, '96-8 in there I'd say, I was a frequent house guest of a guy in the Film industry at his house up in the Hollywood Hills and he hired often, I was relegated to the guest house but he often let me meet them and he was one. He was very nice a real NYC Italian boy who semed surprised that anyone knew who he was. (somewhere I have a few Polaroids I took of him at the house) In the mid 2000's he did move back here and started escorting,

View attachment 160995631It didn't last long I knew only one guy here who hired him and it was to say the least unpleasant, he was very thin and had lost a lot of hair, was very under the influence of something, and according to him, very very hygienically challenged  . He got rid of him fast as he could. No idea what became of him, he may very well still be here.
you are a storyteller! Thanks very much!!

I’m gonna need you to write some memoirs. I’m obsessed with gay life in the 90s

Since you mentioned David Morales, is he gay? He never mentioned being gay in the 90s. A couple days ago, i have listened to my double pack italian pressing 12' of Robert Myles Featuring Maria Nayler - One And One. The David Morales Club Mix is amazing. This is one of his best remixes in my opinion.

I also listened to the vinyl of Size Queen - Dance To The House from Twisted America. Which is a Peter Rauhoher production. Why did he walkout? What happened?

Very, Bilingual, & Nightlife. I think that these 3 albums from the Pet Shop Boys are their best.

Well this was basically my life right here. I was in NYC 2000-2007, and about 90% of this list I know off by heart. Let's see...

The Big Cup - yep I remember that on 8th avenue, some very cute barista boys, right next to The View

HX / Next Magazine - I wrote for HX that whole time, listings manager and online editor and porn columnist. That's how I ended up with all the encounters with porn stars I've described elsewhere on these boards

The Roxy - didn't go the Roxy often, only once or twice, but I do remember there were a couple of Bel Ami boys doing an appearance once time

Splash / SBNY - Splash I went to pretty often, sucked and got sucked often in their quiet areas or bathrooms or backstage - this story took place there

The COCK - went to the Hole more often, plus the Slide, HomoCorps, John Street, #1 Chinese, Magnum, any whoring party thrown by Daniel Nardicio, Dean Johnson or Johnny McGovern

Flotilla Debarge - one of the regular queens, I remember describing her as "Nubian Empress" in HX one time in an attempt to find some new synonym and she actually came into the office to thank me

Fire Island 'Meat Rack' - I did Fire Island at least three times - twice for an HX staff getaway (in which the boss tried to feel me up in the hot tub) and once on the set of Fire Island Cruising pts 3&4 for Michael Lucas 🤮 - you can see me in the BTS

"Trick" - still one of my favourite gay movies ever, mostly because it takes place right round everywhere I used to go

Colton Ford - one of the those porn stars who inexplicably think they can have a music career as well...? Not sure why that's such a common thing

David Barton Gym - I did NYSC rather than David Barton - the Chelsea location was just a gay knocking shop, no argument. Literally every guy in there was either gay, straight but knew he could get a no-strings blowjob, or straight but knew to keep his head down and not make eye contact

Erik Rhodes - had dinner with him, Matthew Rush and Roman Heart at B Bar. I have a copy of HX I wrote that he doodled on framed in my bathroom

Barracuda - had my NYC leaving party there. No-one from HX showed up, cunts

Stonewall Inn - covered stripper night there a couple of times

Christopher Street - nostalgic to stroll along, even if there's not actually much there

Whitney's "My Love Is Your Love" era - good album, I'll hear nothing against it

The Eagle - I think I only went once, because porn star Ollie Kicks was on. I was so into him...

The Black Party / The White Party (...WHERE were they held, again!??) - Roseland Ballroom 52nd st, can't stand circuit parties, not my thing at all. Did go there to see PSB's Release tour tho

Pet Shop Boys' 'Gay' era (Very, Bilingual, & Nightlife) - aforementioned, my favourite band, interviewed Neil for HX for the Release album, that's how I got free tour tickets

G Lounge - sucked off a guy at the toilets round the back while my auntie was round the front

Lukas Ridgeston - can't believe I missed him at the CSB, my husband got a picture for me though

The Monster / Monster Tea - don't think I ever went to the Monster, not in the whole seven years. I did the Duplex, Julius, Stonewall, B&S. Didn't spend so much time in the West Village really, I was more an East Village boy

Go Go Boy 'Larry' - as I explained in this thread, I vividly remember Matt, Jay and Owen from those days

Hedda Lettuce - fixture at East of 8th I think? And Barracuda and Splash and Joe's Pub...

A to Z Couriers (...with the HOT Cartoon Bike messengers in the ads....) - aww the nostalgia! and always with one leg of their pants rolled up so you never knew if they were a courier or a drug dealer

M People - "Movin' on up, nothin' can stop me!"

The Limelight - first place I heard Missy Elliot "Lose Control"

Jackie Beat - actually associate her more with LA, she was DJing at the Abbey when I was there for the GayVNs

Very, Bilingual, & Nightlife. I think that these 3 albums from the Pet Shop Boys are their best.

Sorry no, have to argue there. Behaviour and Fundamental are better. I don't really get why Very is so beloved, it doesn't do much for me, I skip half of it

ANYWAY. None of that was the point of the thread, I just had to reply

....you wanna be my FRIEND!???...ha-HAAA!! ....you mentioned some People (and some suck-off places) that I haven't remembered for awhile! .....Oh, we bitches had a TIME of it, in the 90's.......

....but, I'm a tad mad at you......: unamused:

....I applied at HX nuuuuuumerous times for a DJ playlist slot (1993-1997), and NEVER got a reply...but DJ Alex Lauerstein got ALL the love, though! ....and I was miffed as HELL at DJ Brenda Black kept stealing my gigs! .....and your Magazine always talked her UP!

....But alas, that's all in the 90's..... ;)...Thanks for the inside tibits, wasn't it FUN!??:D

These memories make me feel good. I was born in ‘88 and I came of age in the late 00s when the last gay magazines were ceasing publication, Atlanta’s gay bookstore/ coffeeshop Outwrite was closing its doors, iconic gay bars were closing… and today, the OnlyFans phenomenon has made porn studios increasingly obsolete.

I’m not one of those doomsday gays who’s always saying “things were better back in the day,” but from my perspective, having experienced the end of the 90s/00s era and the beginning of the Grindr era, gay culture in the U.S. appears to be devolving. It’s perhaps “easier” to be gay today (both socially/culturally and logistically: even the process of hooking up/ finding tricks is streamlined and instantaneous), but something tangible has disappeared. Iconic bars/clubs closing permanently during the pandemic was another death knell of gay culture.

.....I've BEEN sayin' it, Kid!

.....to bring it back to the thread's topic.......Gay Pornstars (in the 90's) would actually walk down the street, say Hello, and sometimes....SOMETIMES.....hook up with someone; but, Today's O-Fans / SM era, the allure of the "GAY PORNSTAR" is dead, and gonnnnee, babe......

...the 90's Bars, Clubs, meet-up places, Gyms, flicks, even the Music (...I actually fucked a Guy who wanted the remix of Deborah Cox's "Things Just Ain't Same"), allowed a Gay Man to appreciate CULTURE, and you can't get that from this generation, who can't get their fukkin' faces outta their PHONES, for half a minute: unamused:....

....and, if you were hot enough to lay a Gay Pornstar (I had SEVEN;)), it was some SERIOUS bragging rights.....these Days, they'll only do it for a 'Collab'.......:confounded:

....If you won't say it, I will....things WERE better back in the Day......and today, "Things Just Ain't The Same".....

...thanks, Deborah......

I got to know Chase Hunter a bit when I lived in Ft Lauderdale a few years ago. We hooked up a few times… nice guy. Still very hot and looks great.

Steve Rambo is alive & well, successfully working in another industry under his real name. He seems to have a slightly complex relationship with his past fame. An IG friend of mine spent the last year celebrating his career weekly thru his IG account. Steve was aware but only chose to give comment once, which was positive & warm. He did however allude to a possible return to "adult" work "on his own terms" which to me said he was contemplating OnlyFans or escort work or both LOL! Only time will tell.
Whats his IG

Dont answer the question too fast. It might hurt you. It doesnt matter. I found the answer anyway. David Morales is straight. He also supports lgbt rights. I guess you didnt know about that. Right?
