Porn Stars Who Have Passed Away

Sean of Corbin Fisher, was his a drug overdose or suicide? All signs from his relative's point to "unintentional overdose". So sad regardless.

Hello everybody.

Could you please, when possible, put a picture of the deceased actor you're talking about.
That would makes it easier to know who he is (especially with all the ones who had different names, depending on the Studios).

Thanks in advance

After Sean died (2012), there was a blog/site by someone who stated Sean was hooked on MDMA (I think it was). And there were details (if true) about Sean's gay dad or stepdad. I think the blog/site was taken down later. I'm struggling to remember what I read, then. I don't know if what I read was true.

MDMA? I didn’t know it could be addictive.

I don't take illegal drugs. So I don't know what's addictive or not, from a personal experience.

I was just trying to remember what I read. :)

What you probably remember was that he was using Molly (MDMA) and the police investigation indicated that he had been seeking Molly in the days before he died. He wasn't addicted, per se. Like a lot of people with mood disorders and depression, he had been self-medicating to try to fight the depression.

If I remember correctly, the coroners conclusion was that it was a suicide and he died of an overdose of tricyclic antidepressants which is miserable way to do.

That's an interesting question. Technically, it's an amphetamine - a group of drugs highly prone to addiction. But the whole "happy, lovey, touchy" aspect of the drug is dependent on the big serotonin release that it triggers. Back in my circuit party days, taking two (occasionally...three) MDMA pills over the course of a night wasn't unusual. But on successive doses, neurotransmitters only have so much serotonin left to release. Generally if we wanted a "boost" later in the night or the following morning - it was best to get it from something else - ketamine, GHB or if you went there...meth. I've heard friends theorize that this could be a guard against addiction - but there's no actual evidence of that to my knowledge.

Obviously - meth is very addictive, as can be a number of prescription stimulants used to treat ADHD such as Ritalin or Vyvanse. But MDMA dependency while theoretically possible, isn't really something you hear about. If anyone knows something I don't - by all means - chime in.

Tricyclics? I didn't think those were even used anymore. In addition to overdose potential, they were also prone to dangerous interactions with other drugs. That makes me wonder if the mental health issues were longstanding and treatment resistant. Doctors tend to work through safer choices first like your garden variety SSRIs - Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil - before pulling out the big guns like thorazine. I skipped a few steps in between, but I trust you understand what I'm getting at.
