Strictly speaking, that's not exactly how it works from a DNA standpoint. You could have four children and they could all get different DNA even if they were all with the same partner. You can tell that they're all related for sure because they will share a certain percentage if their siblings but that window can range widely depending on the individual sperm and egg that got together. However in this case I completely agree with you. It is safe to say he got his looks from the Spencer side mostly but there are pictures where it looks like his paternal great uncle but of course most of them he looks kind of like Diana's brother. Also said that said LOL look at the ears and the balding pattern he most certainly is a Windsor. If the rumors are true the elephant trunk hanging between his pants also comes from that side of the family and I'm certainly not complaining about that. Praise Diana's looks all you want when it comes to Harry but she can't deny that he did get some of the best of his daddy and perhaps left some of the more plain behind. I'm not sure how I feel about his obvious hair implants but it seems to be going well so far. I'm just feeling like we've been denied hot balding shaved head daddy Harry. I will live with it cuz one of the things I've always loved about him was his hair so I guess I can't have my cake and eat it too and I will settle for a post hair transplant Harry, I mean it is his own hair despite the texture and slight color difference it has to come from his own body. And we know from his military home videos that the carpets do match the drapes lol.

it is how it works. 50% comes from either parent. whether or not any percentage is latent, is up to how that child develops, but it's a half and half. it certainly isn't as this nonce indicated, he didn't get any of his father's dna. FFS

In trying to explain my point in simple terms I didn't state what I was trying to say accurately and I think we both oversimplified this whole thing with how it works but it's besides the point cuz I think we agree he definitely got traits from both of his parents in his DNA that have been obviously expressed.
I think my main point was expression as you rightly pointed out and that siblings will not get the same set of DNA from their parents necessarily that one of their siblings did and can be radically different. My niece for instance matches more with her great aunt by far then with her grandfather my father. As a matter of fact she has more in common with me but an enormous amount coming with her great aunt. It's just not as simple as either of us was stating.

In any case I like the Spencer family traits in Harry that we can see and I also like the Windsor traits in Harry that we can see including his balding and his Dumbo ears. You know what they say big ears LOL and big feet his size 14s. Definitely handsome definitely dorky at the same time. I don't care where he gets it from as long as he expresses it like he did in Vegas LOL

if i'm remembering correctly, the dna is an exact copy of it's host and is passed down without changes or restructuring. every sibling gets the exact same strands. once it develops in the individual, it works more like a menu or list of options. the menu is selected from through development, however, everyone at the table got exactly the same menu with every item available. barring any significant life changes or medical issues addictions even medications, which could have an impact, it's the same for each conception. i'm almost positive that's the basic process. the info that's passed is still the same.

however, it could have rewrites over top of the original data because crack damages the dna sequences, or unknown to her, he had an undiagnosed hiv status that will pass to the later offspring that wasn't present for the earlier offspring

as an example, i'm one of six through the sperm donor. one of five through my mother. the first two died at birth, the next three to the same egg and sperm and while there are some marked similarities, we couldn't look any different or be any different that in a line up of 50, you'd be hard pressed to get the three identified, maybe 2 if lucky on a good day in a brightly lit room. the sixth is a different mother. also, conception age. numbers three through five all received some damaged sequences cuz in the 60's and 70's parents to be drank hard and if momma was preggers, we all got to smoke salem lights 100's for our first nine months of life. number 6 did not have alcohol or cigarettes during development as neither parent drank routinely and he gave up smoking in 1976

he was 48 when number six was conceived. number six's packet from him contained information that was not passed to numbers one through five. after 40, sperm begins to deteriorate, it's not as spry or robust. the packet contained certain markers that created a risk factor for number 6 in the form of mental health problems and an emotional component with either missing or damaged data. 40 to 45, there's a 20% chance any child conceived will have mental and emotional issues at a mild level. after 45, the risk factors increase exponentially so at 48, six was born with a 45plus percent chance of being fucked in the head. at 6, diagnosed with adhd with a mood component. at 12, bi polar, by 16, was on so many meds her hair was falling out. at 16, alcohol, 18, drugs, 20, 5 arrests including two drunk driving charges. all this delivered by an aging man who preached to me to use a rubber, (which for me was never gonna be an issue cuz eww) while knocking up a 32 year old employee on his payroll. men are such douchebags

oh, and the first two, the dead ones, airforce and a military wife in the 60's. in the us and britain, expecting military wives were routinely prescribed thalidomide before someone at the top decided prescribing a med that created freak shows and fucked with the mother's confidence and caused severe depression might need a do-over. 3,4,5 were not influenced by that med, but i have to imagine it just took the maternal sequences and tied them up in knots on some, broke other strands into lots of little pieces, and what remained intact was a crap shoot. both children were born with multiple limbs that were incomplete, three arms but two had no fingers and all were half normal size, one with several organs located outside the chest cavity, a skull more or less unavailable and the legs.... the second one died in the womb at 8 months and a natural birth was forced after it sat dead inside three weeks after it died. the first one birthed alive and was immediately euthanized and incinerated. still, the exercise of an empty grave was done for the military's documentation process. my mother was told it died several hours old due to complications, the complication was there's no clue where to put the needle with sodium pentothal cuz the heart is outside but it needs to go right into the blood stream. she was put out cold but she remembers hearing the delivery team screaming and one nurse was reported screaming it was proof my mother was evil and this was demon spawn. america's military health care on a base in 1961, good times. so these may be the exceptions to the exact copy assertion
