17 is the legal age of consent in NY, But if the photos requests were for nudes from a 17 year old- that is against the law as is having said photos....age/relationship wise, he's 24 and if she's 17- then that's basically what the film 'Call me by your Name' was....creepy, yes- illegal no...one more creepy thing about Medvedev to add to the reasons to dislike him.

With a kid no less. I think even though the age of consent has passed it could still be considered soliciting from a minor. I'm curious to see what will happen next with all these allegations coming out

He's also Russian - Not saying it as an excuse but I highly doubt he's overly familiar with the different ages of consent in the US and whether requesting nudes of someone that is 17 is legal or not. Ignorance of the law is not an excuse but I think often times we view everything from an American lense and project that on to foreign nationals.

Unless I'm missing something, he didn't request any nudes. Why are people saying he did and where is this coming from? I genuinely want to know.

So where did he request her nudes? Are we just assuming she screenshotted everything except the part where he committed an actual crime? Because that smells kinda fishy.

I'm genuinely interested to know where this information has come from - like, what is the source?
