Sounds like similar to Fabio situation, called himself the F word multiple times during a match (including "You're playing like a faggot ass!!", you can't make this up lol) .Then his apology was even worse than Fabio's, he posted on instagram saying basically "Sorry I'm not as perfect as you expect."

“I want to use the opportunity to apologize for using some bad words to myself in my semifinal yesterday. I love diversity more than anyone I know and people that knows me, they no that ! Sorry for not being as perfect yet as you all expect”

Pretty horrendous attempt at an apology in my eyes lol

He and his mom tripled down on IG afterwards. Screw them both. If your yelling faggot at yourself when you miss shots etc, that's deep seeded hate. The mom really went hard against the critics and basically said there's nothing wrong with that term. and even evoked God knows the truth or something similar.
