you are missing the most important point that top players almost always skip these tournaments (and with top i mean top 20 or so).

i don't want this to sound too stereotypical but tennis guys really need stable long term relationships as they have to satisfy their sexual and emotional needs while constantly traveling. their lifestyle is not compatible with constantly dating and looking. that is why i think lack of a girlfriend in picture is suspicious, though of course it does not prove anything.

Speaking out side of sexual nature the hottest guy up close and who exuded that aura of attractiveness was Juan Carlos Ferrero. Not a big guy but very handsome and hot. My gay 15 year old ass was drooling. The nicest guy was Guga Kuerten. He was a gentlemen and so patient with us.

That along doesn’t mean as much as you might think. Some dudes are just not about long-term relationships in their 20s. Some guys are just hyper-sexual manwhores and have a difficult time maintaining a commitment. It’s also not that difficult to acquire a “beard” or to try to make people think you’re dating someone who is merely a friend. While there are quite a few dudes who are in the queer spectrum and use women for sex, sociological protection, ego, to subdue their gay insecurities while secretly being cuddled up with their homeboy at night or secretly being homo-leaning when it comes to the sexual, romantic attachment, emotional investment, commitment spectrum. But yes, not investing in a real hetero relationship is always going to be one of the things that makes a guy come off “suspect”. But it doesn’t mean nearly everything.

No not fully. It’s usually short changes or shirt changes after practices but you do have some that hit the showers right away. My advantage was that I got chances to stock locker rooms for towels and other supplies. So I got more glimpses.

Sweaty jocks. No lie. The smell of like sweaty ass jocks. I know because I was responsible for collecting dirty towels and replacing them with fresh ones. Now to most people it would be an eww. My gay ass was taking it in like Febreze Air Fresheners.

All jokes aside. The guys put their laundry in bags and have them cleaned there at the site. So it’s not like a high school locker room. All under clothes and sweaty shorts are concealed in the bags. These men are very clean about themselves. Don’t know how it is now but back then (2001-2007) it was organized.

But once those guys returned from practice or matches, those raw manly tennis masculine pheromones was in the air and so was my boner. Damn I wish I could go back.
