Not surprised by Carlos going down this route at 19. Even though he got to number 1, won a major and is popular, it’s obvious he’s trying to become a mega sports star as soon as possible and is looking to get as many big brand deals as soon as possible. Using your sex appeal is one way to boost attention, especially for people who don’t pay much attention to the sport.
I will admit to being a tad uncomfortable with how gung-ho he and the media have been with using his body and sex appeal while not even being 20 yet. Hell, considering the type of underwear and close up to bulges and ass cheeks, I’m surprised there’s no jockstrap photos. But I can’t complain about the visuals.

I’m perfectly fine with the photo shoots. But he was barely a few months into being 18 when Men’s Health had him oiled up shirtless. And these photos are about as “revealing” as you get from professional athletes. His age does add a level of discomfort. But it’s obvious he likes showing off his physique. And yes, he’d likely have no problem showing off his cheeks in ESPN Body issue.
