I’ve thought the same thing. When I lived in NYC, I was the official “manscaper” to three of my friends. (2 regular, 1 occasional) Every month or two we’d meet up at either my apartment or theirs and I’d bring my clippers and shave/trim their pubes, balls, and sometimes chest hair. It was so hot. I’d make sure they had a boner while I was working on them... told them it was easier to work on them down there with a fully hard, versus flaccid penis. Without fail, I’d be rock hard too and most of the time would just get naked along with them too. I seriously thought that I’d love to open a manscaping salon and do this all day... but never did.

Lots of guy saved their pubic hair for a clean look, which like you, not a real turn on to me.

Some guys I know back in college wanted to shave their pubic hair off to avoid catching "crabs", a sexually transmitted disease that bugs live on your pubic hair and causing non-stop itch.
