Tom Jones. He can sing too.

There was a type of tux that Tom Jones wore on a TV show as a musical guest. The jacket was short and the pants seemd to push the meat and potatos forward almost like some bras did for the ladies. I also remember TV actor Bobby Sherman wearing the same style on some awards show and singer PJ Proby also wearing that style on a music show. I have never been able to find photos of them in these memorable pants (circa 1964-1967) and am pretty sure it wasn't all in my imagination! Does anyone know of this tuxedo type?
