I know who he is, his real name, and I have pictures of him without a mask. But I don't think it's right to share because it would hurt him and he seems like a nice person.

Don't share any private information.
If he wanted his real name or face to be associated with his pupbuday persona he would have done so, also sharing private information about someone else without their consent is doxing and that's bad.
I honestly feel like it would’ve been better to not comment this at all. Both because it’s doxxing and because you’re kind of bating the people that wanna see his face. If you have pictures of him that you don’t wanna share, don’t mention it.
He comes across as a very nice and sweet person.
