I'm not defending him but it's very possible that because of his young age, it could be that he's so gullible and naive he probably doesn't even realize all of these different gestures resembles all of that. But believe it or not even though he doesn't look like it, he's actually half black and half white.
But there are thousands of people on social media doing all these random things trying to impress people to get more viewers, they end up saying and doing things where they don't even realize it's borderline offensive and because they're not educated on those type of things it doesn't even cross their minds that it comes off offensive to people who are educated in those areas.
But there's a big difference between knowing exactly what you're doing or just being unknowledgeable and naive.

That "ok" sign, especially in the downward positioning below the waist, is attributed to it, though. The ADL even added this specific use of it as a hate symbol in 2019. At this point no one really seems to care, not even in his post comments, so my guess is he's just seen as sexy and J/O material and nothing of deeper importance.

It absolutely is not a hate symbol even if a couple dumbass white supremacists decided they would take the 4chan trolling seriously.
If you are offended by it, you are too sensitive to ever leave your house so I hope you don’t. If you truly believe it is a hate symbol, you’re quite simply wrong.

No one thinks it only means the hate symbol, but it absolutely has become an in-group signal for hate groups and people sympathetic to hate groups because of the original joke that started it. Just because you really really don't want it to take on that meaning doesn't mean it hasn't.
No, it’s only taken on that meaning because gullible hyper-sensitive people decided to believe it and give this centuries old totally benign symbol the power to hurt their feelings.

Ah... Your response to my comment is very off. I never said that I myself believe it's a white supremacist hand gesture or close to it. The point I was trying to make is Rafael might be so gullible not to realize it himself that all of these random hand gestures and movements he's been doing are borderline to what other people "might" see as racist symbols.
And it's pretty obvious that most if not all of his followers don't think of it that way either. Cause the last time I checked it's only being called out here on this thread. Not anyone on his Instagram. Plus for myself I don't follow or pay attention to what different racist groups hand signals are. I stay away from all of that foolishness and it's pretty obvious the majority of the group is the same way.

Isn't the supremacy hand gesture supposed to be held up and not down like the "made you look" game? I just googled it and they're all holding it up and not downward. Raph does that hand gesture downward.
I think it's been used downward before. Regardless, I was just trying to make a point of it being possibly offensive. But no one really seems to care on here (and neither do Raphael's fans). So whatever. Honestly forget I brought it up in my first post.

Exactly! It's the "horny haters" (only on this thread and no where else on the web) who know they can't have him that started that crap. Accusing him of doing those things, when the fact of the matter is he's not. I've never seen or heard of someone who is mixed half black and half white that's racist against his own kind on either side.
He's already said out loud that his mom is fully white and his dad is fully black. Plus if Rafael was any of those things he would be one of those guys who makes weekly videos talking about politics, and giving his opinion about what people should or shouldn't be doing when it comes to race and gender roles. Not showing off his body and fitness journey.
But the people who are actually all of those horrible things always wanna let everybody know their opinion and always wanna talk about politics. Raphael barely even says one word on any of his social media platforms.
