They were recorded in 480p, 720p and sometimes 1080p. UHD did not exist that far back.

And that's very On Brand for SC. But the way SCM did any type of recruiting was with 15+ billboards and word of mouth. In really the only city in the US you could do it. You already have guys coming to Vegas from all over the country. With the "When in Rome" and "What happens in Vegas..." mentality going strong they'd see a billboard saying they'll get paid $500 for jerking off in front of a camera. Resulting in SCM having I think the most authentic selection of straight guys doing amateur porn.
That is interesting, people always discuss the models, but rarely ever talk about the studios/directors.. I bet in today's environment it must be much easier to get guys to at least get naked on cam, seeing as it is much more accepted. Id say the only drawback for studios now, is OnlyFans, cause why do they need to pay a studio a cut, when they can get it more directly.
