You're basically suggesting that Ronen would choose to lie about his own sexual orientation permanently just bc of random online backlash regarding one TV show in his career (None of which has ever seemed substantial at all so I I'm not sure where you're getting that from?)

Occam's Razor applies. It's much more reasonable to conclude that him playing this openly gay character just led him to be open with his own truth. It's not unheard of for a closeted actor to seek out roles where they can play lgbt characters as means of an outlet of sorts.

OK but just to play devil's advocate

he started doing the show well over a year ago and the time exact time he comes out is the right when people start calling him and Ryan Murphy out for a str8 actor playing a gay role.

Secondly do you honestly think in this day and age there is absolutely no one who wouldn't pretend to be bi / gay to get attention or to stop some form of backlash. I can guarantee there are a good number of people who would, the names Aaron carter and potentially Tyler posey come to mind. not to mention pretty much every g4p pornstar.

I am absolutely not saying Ronen is one of them I'm just saying it's not 100% out of the realm of possibility.
