Now on the flipside. The question becomes if he was actually putting on a less masculine or urban voice to appeal to a "white audience". If you are POC, you know what I'm talking about lol. I noticed he did hang out with a lot of white guys earlier in his career as he got his footing in Hollywood. So he had to assimilate somewhat.

I say this because Ryan grew up in an urban environment and around POC (black people mostly). When I hear him now. He definitely sounds like most Latinos who are from that area of Sacramento. Honestly this may just be his true voice.

Yeah, after however many dozens of seasons trying to sound like Barry White on set I'd imagine Ackles' natural voice has deepened quite a bit.
