Yeah it's a bit confusing. I think he means that Gar is bi but him tweeting it from his own account as himself is confusing. Lol.
I'm not getting my hopes up about this Superboy + Romance development (it'll 100% be Blackfire cause its the least original thing and that's standard for straight relationships on tv) but with Ryan's tweet there is hope.
Though I don't trust execs. Making Batman "I never kill" a murderer = fine, but making a character queer would be going Too Far and would be Too Big Of A Change.

i think i saw a clip of that interview of joshua floating on twitter the other day, and it included him talking about connor discovering his sexuality. which led to people assuming connor will at least have a male on male interaction. and with ryan's tweet, it wouldn't be too surprising if people started assuming connor and gar get involved

this week's episode definitely hinted strongly that something is gonna happen between connor and blackfire. i'm guessing when joshua said in an interview that connor was gonna be exploring his sexuality, he meant it in the matter of finding out about sex, not in the matter of discovering his attraction to men.
the door is still wide open for gar, especially since raven is nowhere to be seen and the show basically axed that relationship. who knows, maybe it'll be gar and tim

As of this week’s episode, it’s pretty clear
so who knows?
Conner will be fucking Blackfire and Gar is being paired with this new Molly. But Blackfire likely will be leaving the show soon, and I can easily see Conner wanting to “explore his sexuality” by tasting women as a first test and then men as a second,
Hopefully Connor and blackfire get a hot steamy sex scene and Hopefully gar join in on the action
