Didn't the gay rumours start because there was a guy on Tiktok who had receipts of them talking and hanging out? I literally only know who he is because of that video.
Also, this dudes fanbase is like violently homophobic, and he spends a ton of time in the Middle East. I would usually agree with your take, but this is kind of a complicated situation.
Most of the Middle East people are pretty homophobic. I personally don’t think he is one of those “hateful bigots” who are totally against queer people. But he isn’t any kind of ally either. He represents people who don’t really care or hate who someone chose to love regardless. Also rumours can start and spread pretty easily and are mostly believed only if people find them interesting. There are “straight” men out there who are very curious about other guys or being with one guy but he just doesn’t posses any kind of such vibe and doesn’t seem to have affection towards other men so it’s pointless to believe online sources where people are more likely to buy the lie.
