Sam Fricker

Like I'm happy he actually has a social media/PR management team that handles 99% of stuff for him as that'll help him avoid most if not all of the early young adult mistakes that other influencers make (hopefully).

Buuuuut at the same time that means that the possibility of an OF account/delving into true adult content probs won't happen (if ever) until he's in his late 20's or early 30's and has hit the retirement age for most divers (like low 20's for Aussie Olympic Divers and Early 30's for Commonwealth Games Divers)

He's never making an OF.
Realistically yeah you're likely 10,000% correct.

I can definitely seeing him going into politics once he decides to retire from diving which can only happen sooner rather than later given his injuries and the amount of years between large worldwide recognized events (Commonwealth Games + Olympic Games).

I mean one of his friends/Colleagues has already been voted in as an Independent (i think?) local government level member. So like I defiiiinitely see him going down the same route. If not being advance tracked given his interviews with forefront Liberal members which I imagine would have given them a measurable amount of younger voters OR at least a measurable amount of positive image/PR.

I think he'll probably transition into some communications role within the sport once he retires. He joined the news team doing Olympic commentary, so I can see him doing something similar in the future.

True he has done a couple commentary roles over the last 12 months.

But sports commentary as a job compared to a career in Politics? like all he'd have to do for politics is avoid any "big" views or policies publicly and he'll be golden even if he only remains a suburb sized political member. I feel like commentary as a job role requires a bit more independent travel and hunting for gigs?

I mean, I don't know too much about him, but has he shown interest in running for political office? He's shown interest in, and actually done, sports commentary.

I don' think he's specifically stated either way. My thinking is more along the lines of "why would he do Liberal member interviews if he didn't have future plans with them?"
He's a perfect candidate for sports commentating. Plus he looks great. I def see him on TV in the future.
